This piece was a commission for a beekeeper! Wayne had won a giraffe piece in the auction and wanted another personal piece and bees being his passion he asked if a could create a piece with a traditional hive. He did not mind if it was “one bee or lots and anything else you want to add in”
We decided the piece would be the same size as his auction piece, and he sent me some beautiful images of other bee pieces he liked… looking over what he’d sent this was my take on his idea and he loved it… Phew!
